Today is definately one of the most exciting days so far this year for anyone who is into Apple. Hot on the heals of a great CES show in Las Vegas, where hundreds of great new products were launched, Apple came up trumps today with its first Intel based Mac’’s. Talk about “leaping Ahead”, this partnership is already delivering, with the launch of the new Apple Imac, based on Intels Core Duo chip. Its 3.2x faster than the old iMac and is positioned at the same price.

But the show stopper……
The Power Book has been replaced by the Intel based Apple MacBook Pro Core Duo. Wow what a mouthfull.

“It’’s a new name because we”re kinda done with power, and we want the name the Mac name in our products.” The same dual-processor as the iMac in every model. This is hard to believe: 4-5x faster than the PowerBook G5. These things are screamers.”

These new babies have got a built in Isight for video chat as well as a magnetic power cord ( no more falling lappies when you kick the cord while walking away from your desk!) Front row media center is built in and they have even included an IR port for the apple remote!

Right, everyone toddle off now to apple and place your orders for the most beautifull mac lappie yet. I know what im getting from the easter bunny this year!
