How much time have you wasted while Outlook searches through your email and  hogs your CPU? Since I installed Google Desktop, its indexing has been a revelation. Instant lookups are now a reality and finding that one obscure email from 3 years ago is a lot easier. Google Desktop 3 is defiantely a big improvement on the previous release. The Outlook plugin seems better and the sidebar plugins are really cool.
